The Bridge

The Bridge represents the Diversity and Inclusion Champion. Through their work, the Champion creates opportunities for newcomers to New Brunswick in search of a better future. 

Newcomers are represented by the individual at the beginning of the bridge, running with a flag that combines flags from their countries of origin with the New Brunswick flag, symbolizing the efforts to promote the mutual assimilation of cultures between locals and foreigners.   

The Champion serves as a meeting point for cultural enrichment. 

Miriam is a visual artist and photographer who has recently graduated from NBCCD. Originally from Mexico, she is now based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
