The inaugural InnovateNB Celebration took place on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in Saint John, New Brunswick. It was a day full of events including:

Innovation Trade Show and Recruitment Showcase

A showcase of New Brunswick companies and ecosystem organizations who presented their products and services discussed career options with job seekers. This event also hosted workshops presented by CareerBeacon and TechImpact.

Women Belong Here

An action-oriented workshop with a focus on education and raising awareness on diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion in our schools, post-secondary institutions, and workplaces.

NBIF brought together some of the leading venture capital ecosystem members from across Canada for a fireside chat. Over 40 people listened in as they share their knowledge and gave attendees a look inside at the state of venture capital in New Brunswick, Canada and beyond.

The McKenna Institute in conjunction with EY offered 4 thought leadership sessions aimed to create action toward positive change across several industries. These sessions included:

InnovateNB Awards

The inaugural InnovateNB Awards happened on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. 10 awards were given out to New Brunswick’s most innovative individuals, organizations, academic institutions, non-profits and beyond. Plus, we showcased the future of innovation in our province by honouring individuals with the ‘Ones to Watch’ recognition.
